Ravel designed the lovable animated joey character, Jessie, using clean, stylised shape language and vector-drawn shapes. This style would later go on to be used in various print and marketing materials for the Get Ready campaign.
Our animation team then recreated a 2D pipeline in Blender, a 3D-based software program that allowed for more expressive character performance and dynamic visual compositions. Using this combined 2D and 3D workflow, the Get Ready series turned complex disaster preparedness concepts into an approachable, fun and visually compelling learning experience for students.
